Reflect & Refocus Magazine
Celebrating the stories behind Southern Arizona small Businesses
Reflect & Refocus Magazine was created as an extension of my belief that small businesses deserve more than a quick social media post. They deserve to have their stories told, their work celebrated, and something tangible they can hold onto.
Published every two months, each issue features local businesses, entrepreneurs, creatives, and the people who make our communities special.
Signature Spotlight Experience

This is more than a traditional branding session. The Signature Spotlight Experience was created for local small business owners who want professional imagery that tells the story behind their brand - and a meaningful way to share that story with their community.
Together we’ll create a collection of authentic, intentional images that showcase you, your business, your process, and the details that make your brand uniquely yours.

The Signature Spotlight Experience combines professional branding photography with continued exposure for your business through Reflect & Refocus Magazine. Your story becomes part of a printed publication created to celebrate local businesses, encourage community connection, and help people discover the faces behind the businesses around them.
Business Highlights

Business Highlights are designed to give local businesses a simple and beautiful way to introduce themselves to the Reflect & Refocus community.
Each highlight combines professional imagery with a short introduction to your business, giving readers a chance to discover who you are, what you offer, and what makes your business worth knowing.

Business Highlights are perfect for businesses that want to be a part of the magazine without the full Signature Spotlight Experience.
They’re especially great for returning Spotlight businesses, businesses with a smaller story to share, or those looking for a simple way to introduce themselves and their services to the local community.

Business Highlights are limited spaces for select local businesses and returning Signature Spotlight clients. Signature Spotlight businesses may be invited back for a smaller highlight 4-6 months after their original feature, allowing readers to reconnect with their business and keeping their story present in the magazine.
Community Features

Community Features are a simple and affordable way for local businesses, makers, creatives, and service providers to be a part of Reflect & Refocus Magazine.
These features were created to help readers discover more of the people and businesses within our community while giving small businesses an opportunity to share a little about who they are and what they offer.

• One photo representing your business, product, or service
• A short paragraph about your business
• Business name and contact/social information
• Placement in the Vendor section of the magazine
• Featured for one two-month issue
• Option to renew your space for up to six months
$25 per issue

Community Features spaces are limited in each issue and available on a first-come basis.
Businesses provide their own professional-quality image and information for their feature. Images previously created by Reflect & Refocus Portraits may also be included.
Features may be renewed every two months for up to three consecutive issues. After six months, the space will open back up so we can continue introducing our readers to new businesses throughout the community.
Photographer & Business Collaborations

Reflect & Refocus Magazine was created with community at it’s heart and I believe there should be room to celebrate the work of other local creatives too.
If you’re a business owner who already has beautiful branding photos you love, or a photographer who has photographed a local business you’d love to see featured, I want to create opportunities for us to work together.
Your photographer doesn’t have to be Reflect & Refocus Portraits for your story to have a place here.

Businesses and Photographers are welcome to submit existing professional branding images for consideration in an upcoming issue.
Photos must be submitted with permission from both the business and the photographer - and the photographer will always be properly credited for their work.
Approved collaborations will be featured as Business Highlights in an upcoming issue, with placement determined by available space, the story, and images provided.

Submitted Businesses — $100
For businesses that already have professional branding photos and would like to be considered for Business Highlight spot in an upcoming issue. Collaborative spaces allow businesses to share their story while showcasing the work of the photographer who helped bring their brand to life.
The $100 Highlight fee may be paid by the business, the photographer, or split between the two. All submitted images must have permission for publication, and the photographer will be properly credited.
Includes one complimentary copy of the magazine featuring your Business Highlight. Additional copies may be purchased for $15 each.
Featured Collaborations — By Invitation ONLY
Reflect & Refocus may also personally invite select photographers and businesses to collaborate on special editorial highlights. These opportunities are chosen based on the story, photography, community connection, and fit for an upcoming issue.
Special collaboration pricing is provided at the time of invitation.

Because community over competition isn’t just something I want to say - it’s something I want this magazine to actually represent.
Southern Arizona is filled with talented photographers, creatives, and small business owners. Reflect & Refocus Magazine isn’t meant to take away from those relationships. It’s meant to create another place where their work and the businesses they serve can be seen and celebrated.
My hope is that this magazine becomes something we can all be part of - a publication that celebrates local business while giving credit to the creatives who help tell their stories.
